Call For Papers
Call For Papers
We are pleased to invite submissions from all areas of finance to be considered for presentation at the 2025 Colorado Finance Summit. We encourage both theoretical and empirical contributions. We favor early work that has not appeared at other conferences. The final program will consist of 8 papers, plus a session with presentations by selected (2025-2026) job market candidates.
The conference will be held in person at the Hythe Vail, beginning with a reception on the evening of December 12 and ending after the morning session on December 15. Invited attendees will have ample opportunity to explore Vail and its outdoor activities.
REGULAR SESSION: Submissions to the regular session require the payment of a submission fee of $99. To submit a paper for this session, visit the submissions page.
JOB MARKET SESSION: Submissions to the job market session require a faculty nomination. To submit a paper for this session, visit the submissions page.
DEADLINES: The submission deadline for the regular session is July 1, 2025 at 11:59pm PT (please note the earlier deadline relative to previous years). The submission deadline for the job market session is October 15, 2025 at 11:59pm PT. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by the end of August, while selected job market candidates will be notified by early November.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION: We will contact invited participants with more details on how to register for the conference once the program is finalized. We will waive the registration fee for discussants and invited job market candidates. Job market candidates will also receive a travel honorarium.
CONFERENCE AWARDS: The conference is sponsoring three awards: best paper on the regular session ($1000), best paper presentation by a job market candidate ($1000), and best discussion ($1000). We will present these awards based on the votes of the conference participants at the conclusion of the conference.
CONFERENCE VENUE: The Hythe, Vail.
