Vail is surrounded by 350,000 acres of national forest crowned by more than 5000 skiable acres on the largest ski mountain in North America. Vail combines the best alpine resorts in the world with a friendly small-town feel. The town is filled with shops, restaurants and year-round activities. The free shuttle bus system allows convenient transportation throughout the resort town.
Conference Venue
The Hythe, Vail is a full service resort that advertises itself as having the charm of a ski chalet. The resort is located just 150 yards from the Eagle Bahn Gondola. In addition, the resort is equipped with a full service spa, fitness center and pool. For invited conference participants, we have arranged for a block of rooms at a discunted group rate. When we send the invitation to the conference, we will also share with participants information about the block of rooms.
Getting to Vail
The Vail Valley is situated on the Interstate 70. Although there is a regional airport (Eagle County Airport; 40 minutes west of Vail), Denver International Airport has the most flights. Denver International Airport (DIA) is located two hours east of Vail Valley.
Epic Mountain Express provides convenient door-to-door shuttle service from DIA to Vail with Wifi available in transit. Alternatively, there are many car services and car rental options available at DIA.
